We used iMatter to help identify and reflect on areas where we felt we could make improvements in how we operate as a team.
Common themes that arose from our iMatter results included more training and time to talk about learning and development as individuals.
For training, we had the IDEA to bring the clinical skills unit to the station for 2 weeks -
60% of staff attended over a two week period.
To address development, we realised that we needed more time for reflection and development in the West region.
We had the IDEA to just schedule it and make it happen - it's now built into our daily routine.
Staff feedback has been good and we've found that generating ideas that can make our work better, is easy to try and easy to do for ourselves, once we get together to think about it.
