Our Focus Is You!

The NHS Western Isles Physiotherapy Team will always prioritise their patients in all that they do. Their aim is to do the best they can, as soon as they can for their patients. One area where the team have ensured this priority is fulfilled is improving general safety for patients around the Western Isles Hospital. More appropriate seating has been requested around the hospital to enhance the safety and reduce risk to all of our patients.

Within the team itself, there are also concerted efforts to relay the positive messages of staff appreciation and display this within the department. An appreciation board will be developed which will record these positive messages for all to see. These efforts will not only see improvements within staff morale, but will inevitably see considerable benefits to the patient experience within the Physiotherapy Department.
