A win win: Helping Farmers and Enjoying Ice Cream

Thanks to the League of Friends and Cream O’Galloway Ice Cream staff across the partnership received free ice cream!

The League of Friends have been working with Cream of Galloway to help with an excess of stock and oversupply of milk caused by the current situation

In recognition of the work our staff do every day of the year, not just in this situation we find ourselves today, the League of Friends wanted staff to enjoy an ice cream.

Distribution was coordinated by the Catering Department on behalf of the staff support and wellbeing team (SWEET), 3432 tubs of ice cream were given to staff!

Staff have expressed huge thanks to the League of Friends and Cream O’Galloway, with over 100 messages left from individuals/teams
